Just enter the address of a site - a media outlet, a partner blog, a directory - and we scan its pages and report every page that links to your website. For each link you will know: dofollow or nofollow, the anchor text used, where it points, and whether the source page carries a noindex tag.

Verify where a backlink sits and what kind of link it is.
A backlink can look perfectly fine in a browser while carrying no value at all in Google's eyes. This is what we check.
The most common cause: the article was deleted or edited by the newsroom. You still paid, but the link no longer exists.
A link marked nofollow or sponsored passes no authority. Plenty of providers do not mention this up front.
If the source page is noindex, Google never indexes it - the links inside it are effectively unread.
Link text decides which keyword gets reinforced. It is often not what you asked for.
Confirms the link goes to the right page, not to the homepage or an old address.
The HTTP code and response time of the source page. A 404 or a dead server clearly gives you nothing.
Up to 15 addresses at once, fetched in parallel so the results come back in seconds.
A link to blog.yourdomain.com counts as a link to your domain.
No account, no email, nothing to install. Paste and run.
Nothing to install. It all runs on this page.
Just the domain name, for example yourbusiness.com. Links to subdomains and to any page on that domain are counted.
Copy the page addresses from your backlink provider's report or your press release publication report, one per line.
Red means the link is not there. Amber means it is there but not carrying full value. Both are worth raising with your provider.
So you know what is safe and what to raise with your backlink provider.
| Marker | What It Means & What to Do |
|---|---|
| π’ Live | The link was found, it is dofollow, and the page is indexable. This is a backlink that genuinely works. Just recheck it periodically. |
| π‘ Needs Checking | The link exists but is marked nofollow/sponsored, or the page is noindex. It can still bring visitors, but do not expect it to lift rankings. Ask the provider whether this matches what was agreed. |
| π΄ Not Found | There is no link to your domain on that page, or the page cannot be opened. This is the one most worth complaining about - especially if you paid for it. |
| DOFOLLOW label | A normal link passing authority to your website. This is the most valuable kind for SEO. |
| NOFOLLOW label | Google is told not to pass authority. Normal in comment sections, forums and some media - but not normal if you bought it as a dofollow backlink. |
| SPONSORED label | The marker for a paid link. Honest in Google's eyes, but it does not pass authority. |
| Anchor Text | The text people click. If every backlink uses exactly the same anchor, the profile looks unnatural - vary it. |
| (no text) / (image) | A link with no text, usually a logo or banner. Legitimate, but it reinforces no keyword at all. |
Links that have vanished, been quietly switched to nofollow, or placed on noindex pages are money evaporating for nothing. We build backlinks from media and websites that can be verified, with a publication report to match.
Incoming authority is wasted if the destination page itself has problems.
What people most often ask before using the tool.
Not the whole web, and we would rather be straight about that. This tool finds backlinks from one site you name - you enter the outlet's address and we scan its pages. Sweeping the entire internet to find linkers you have no idea about requires a web-scale crawl index such as Ahrefs, Semrush or Majestic, all of which are paid - even Moz only gives 50 free rows a month. When you enter a single address, we read that site's robots.txt and then take its page list from the sitemap - far more efficient and polite than crawling blind. If there is no readable sitemap, we follow internal links from the address you gave. The cap is 40 pages per check, and pages disallowed in robots.txt are skipped. If you paste several lines at once, the tool switches to verification mode: only those addresses are checked, with no scanning.
Dofollow is an ordinary link that passes authority to the destination site, so it helps rankings. Nofollow, ugc and sponsored are markers telling Google not to pass that authority. A nofollow link is still useful for traffic and brand exposure, but do not expect it to lift rankings. The problem arises when you pay for dofollow and what gets published is nofollow.
The most common causes: the article was deleted or edited by the newsroom, the source site went down or changed domain, the link was quietly switched to nofollow, or the page was given a noindex tag. That is why backlinks should be rechecked periodically - every three months, say - not just once when they first go live.
In scan mode, up to 40 pages per check with a 25-second limit. In list verification mode, up to 15 addresses at once. Both fetch pages in parallel, so results come back in seconds. Each visitor gets 10 free checks per day.
Most likely the link is loaded by JavaScript, so it is not in the page's initial HTML. That is worth knowing in itself: search engines often hit the same difficulty, so such a backlink may not be counted by Google at all. The other possibility is that the source page blocks automated access - which also means some crawlers cannot read it.
For paid backlinks, check immediately after they go live and then every one to three months. For media publications, check within the first week, since editing usually happens early. Keep the results as evidence in case you need to go back to the provider.
Free and no sign-up. Each visitor gets 10 checks per day. We do not ask for an email, a phone number, or any personal data. Results are only cached on the server for about 10 minutes so the same list is not reprocessed repeatedly.
Send us your check results and we will help judge which are worth keeping and which you should go back to the provider about.
